HMRC talk about Self-Assessment as if it is EASY to do!
BUT IT IS NOT EASY! Have you tried to do a Tax Return?
If you are Self-Employed or in a Partnership or you let out Property
They think you just go online and fill in your Tax Return as if it is a simple job!
Like everything in life you have to learn how to do it!
When MTD (Making Tax Digital) starts on 6th APRIL 2026
It is going to be HORRIBLE for most people!
AND you will NOT know it is correct!
TAXATION MAGAZINE has been going since 1927 and I pay £10 a week to get it and they asked 1000 Accountants what they thought to Making Tax Digital and 86% said they thought it would be CRAP!
